Just ASK! Healthy Schools Grants Available for PTAs in NC

PTAs play an important role in engaging parents, teachers, and children to live healthier lives. NCPTA is offering Just ASK! Healthy Schools Grants for eligible PTAs in North Carolina. Grants of up to $1,000 are available for 2014-2015. The grant funds must be used for a health project or program that will be completed by June 15, 2015. PTAs are encouraged to apply for funding to support healthy school environment projects. Apply online by October 31, 2014.

Cullowhee Valley PTA Engages Community to Help Build Playground

Over 50 volunteers from the community, Western Carolina University, and Cullowhee Valley School came out to help build a new playground for the elementary school on August 15-16.
