Ashley Matlock Perkinson is an attorney and lobbyist with Perkinson Law Firm in Raleigh. She is a graduate of UNC School of Law and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the UNC School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is also a graduate of the Duke Nonprofit Management Certificate program.
Ashley represents both national and statewide nonprofits in the areas of lobbying and government relations and nonprofit law. She is also an active volunteer. Ashley currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the North Carolina Symphony; on the Government Affairs Committee of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce; on the Executive Committee of the Raleigh Chamber Music Guild; and she serves as vice chair of Community Workforce Solutions. She is also the immediate past-president of the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Wake County; former secretary and board member of the Wake County Bar Association; and legislative chair and former secretary of the North Carolina Bar Association Constitutional Rights and Responsibilities Section.
In 2012, Ashley was tapped to chair the Distinguished Guests Committee of the 2013 Junior League of Raleigh Inaugural Ball. Ashley has been presented the Wake County Bar Association’s President’s Award and was recognized as one of Triangle Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Leaders. Ashley feels fortunate to represent nonprofits that are results-oriented and that make a positive difference in the lives of people and animals.
