Scholarships Available for Teachers Seeking Master’s Degree in Education

NCPTA is pleased to continue its Teacher Scholarship Program. Four scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to teachers seeking a master’s degree in education. PTA members who are eligible for the scholarship must apply by May 25, 2012.

Celebrate Creativity at the 2012 Parent Education Conference

Join hundreds of parents, educators and students at the NCPTA Parent Education Conference in Raleigh April 27-28. The conference will kick off with an IRS Compliance workshop for PTA members. Saturday morning includes national and local expert perspectives on creativity in the classroom, ideas and resources for healthy school environments, school budget complexities and upcoming changes to the Standard Course of Study. Learn more about the afternoon workshops. State-level Reflections winners and NCPTA Annual Award recipients will be recognized at the closing celebration. On-site event registration will only be available on a limited basis. Call the NCPTA office in advance to confirm space availability.
