Eight PTAs Receive Just ASK! Grants

Congratulations to the 2016 Just ASK! Healthy Schools Grant winners!

These grants provide PTA units or councils with small amounts of money to improve  the health at their schools and to share their work with NCPTA and all of our units. The projects varied, and we look forward to featuring their successes and lessons learned starting this summer!

PTAs Win NCPTA Bronze Acorn Membership Award

The North Carolina PTA recognizes PTAs across the state throughout the year for building strong teams of parent, teacher and community volunteers. The Bronze Acorn Award acknowledges PTAs whose membership as of March 15 has increased by at least 10 percent compared to the previous year.

Cumberland County District PTA Announces 2016 Spring S.P.I.C.E Grants

Cumberland County District PTA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Spring S.P.I.C.E Grants (Strengthening Parent Involvement in Children’s Education).

Research has proven that children perform better in school when their parents are involved. Therefore, grant monies have been awarded to the following PTAs for their program ideas to increase parent involvement in their school environment.

NCPTA Announces 2015-2016 State-Level PTA Reflections Winners

Congratulations to students in North Carolina who placed at the state level for PTA Reflections, a national arts recognition program that encourages students to explore their talents and express themselves.
