Engage your School Community and Grow your PTA by using MemberHub

Join us as we show you how MemberHub will help you engage parents, increase volunteerism and grow your PTA by communicating effectively with both PTA and non PTA members all year long. If your PTA is still currently involved with manual processes – printed newsletters/event flyers/signup sheets resulting in hours of time spent on excel spreadsheet management, or if you are using different online platforms such as RemindMe, Sign-Up Genius, CheddarUp/PayPal, iContact/Mail Chimp and looking for one management tool with one login, we want to show you how MemberHub can make your job as a PTA leader and volunteer easier.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Youth Mental Health First Aid (y-MHFA) is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD), and eating disorders.

Lunch will be provided.
