Join the National Education Association (NEA) and National PTA (NPTA) on Tuesday, December 5th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM ET for the monthly Project THRIVE webinar, “The Impact of Hate: The Effects of Anti-LGBTQ+ Legislation.” The webinar will feature a presentation by Sarah Warbelow, HRC’s Vice President, Legal, Policy & Political Affairs and a panel discussion with social workers, parents, and educators. The webinar will highlight the past year of legal and legislative challenges to LGBTQ+ rights and give a glimpse of what is on the horizon for 2024. This webinar is co-sponsored by the National Education Association (NEA) and National Parent Teacher Association (National PTA).

We need the top thought leaders and mission partners in advocacy to share your knowledge and experience during our 2024 Legislative Conference (LegCon). We are looking for presenters who can inspire, educate and share proven methods and tips that will help our PTA advocates build their skills ahead of meeting with their members of Congress on Capitol Hill. The deadline to submit a proposal is Thursday, Nov. 30.

Raising Funds to Support the Mission of PORCH-Durham

With Winter Break just around the corner, NCPTA needs your help raising money for PORCH-Durham as it provides supplemental food to children and families facing hunger in Durham County. You can participate by hosting a Friendsgiving as part of  NCPTA’s Friendsgiving 2023 Challenge! NCPTA's Friendsgiving goal is $5,000 and all proceeds will be donated to PORCH-Durham.

2023-2024 Dues Update!

Effective July 1, 2023, the NCPTA Membership Dues are now $5.25 ($3.00 goes to NCPTA and $2.25 goes to National PTA). 

Schools who owe membership dues from the 2022-2023 fiscal year should contact [email protected] for information on how to pay these outstanding dues.
