Four Teachers Selected for NCPTA Teacher Scholarship

The North Carolina PTA is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2012 North Carolina PTA Teacher Scholarship. Each teacher will receive a $500 scholarship to assist in earning a master’s degree in education. Learn More. Team Up for Kids at Summer Leadership Training in Raleigh

USDA Announces New Standards for School Meals

First Lady Michelle Obama and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recently unveiled the new standards for school meals. According to a news release issued by the USDA, this is the first improvement in school meals standards in over 15 years.
