2023-2024 NCPTA Local Unit Membership Challenges
1. Tell Us Your Theme and Goal
Any PTA unit or Council that submits their membership theme for the 2023-2024 membership year by September 30, 2023, along with a membership goal that reflects an increase over last year’s total membership will be entered into a raffle to win a PTA tablecloth. Enter Here
2. Are You Online? Does your PTA have an active Givebacks (formerly Memberhub) online join link? Fill out PTA Membership – Are You Online Details by September 30 to be entered into this contest. Participation bonus: filling out this form means that your online join link will be added to the NCPTA website. Participating units will be entered into a raffle for a gift certificate treating your board to dinner!
3. PTA Day! NCPTA has a goal to grow membership by 5,000 members statewide in just ONE day! Join NCPTA on October 7th in this statewide celebration to acknowledge all our achievements and encourage others to join! Participating PTAs will be entered into a raffle for a Buy One Get One Free Convention Registration!
4. Become a PTA Honor Roll Member! Members get the most out of their membership with your PTA the earlier into the year they join! For this challenge, your PTA will need to have remitted dues for a total number of members equal to your end of year number last year by November 15! No entry form is required for this challenge! Participating PTA’s will be entered into a raffle for a Buy One Get One Free Convention Registration!
5. Better Together December can be a busy month! Remit dues for 10 new members in the month of December to be eligible to apply for the Better Together Challenge! Participating units will be entered into a raffle for a gift certificate treating your board to dinner!
6. It Takes a Village- School and District Staff Teachers, school staff, and district staff are all crucial members to each child’s success! Remit dues for School or District staff that represent at least 75% of your total number of school employees by January 31st to be eligible. Participating PTA’s will need to fill out the It Takes a Village- School and District Staff form at https://bit.ly/MembershipChallenge6 to apply. Participating PTAs will be entered into a raffle for a Buy One Get One Free Convention Registration!
7. Founders Day Celebration Did you know that PTA was founded on February 17th? Join us on February 17 on our mission to have 1,919 new members join on this day as we continue to celebrate the history and accomplishments of PTA! Participating PTA’s will be entered into a raffle for a Buy One Get One Free Convention Registration!
8. March Member Madness Grow by 12 new members between March 1 and March 31 By remitting dues for 12 members or more, participating PTAs will be entered into a drawing for a Scholastic Gift card in honor of National Reading Month. No entry form is required for this challenge!
9. It Takes a Village This year we focused on getting back to our roots and how it takes a village to make everyone successful. For the It Takes a Village challenge, PTAs who have at least 10% of their memberships from community members are eligible to apply. Participating PTA’s will be entered into a drawing for a PTA Shop gift card. To apply for membership challenge #9, please fill out this google form.
10. Membership Growth Awards Celebrate your success of growing your PTA with the Membership Acorn Growth Awards! PTAs can apply for the Acorn that matches their growth achievement level and receive a yard sign to display their achievement to the community! No entry form is required for this challenge! Awards will be presented at NCPTA Annual Convention. Bronze Acorn: 10% Membership Growth Silver acorn: 25% Membership Growth Gold Acorn: 50% Membership Growth
