NCPTA Community Partner of the Year Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a community partner who has made outstanding contributions in the field of education that benefit students, families, and the community. This award is open to for-profit and non-profit community partners. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Gwin G. Hughes Healthy Living Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a local unit’s programming that features advocacy activities that promote overall wellness including social-emotional, physical, and/or mental health. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Outstanding Student Service Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a student who has made outstanding contributions to the community through service. Through service, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize an exceptional and enthusiastic PTA volunteer. PTA officers and board members are eligible for this award. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality. The nominee must be a non-school employee.

NCPTA Principal of the Year Award:
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a principal who has made outstanding contributions in the field of education that benefits students, teachers, and families through family-school-community engagement. This award is open to all principals. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Central Office Leader of the Year Award
NCPTA Central Office Leader of the Year Award: The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a central office leader who has made outstanding contributions in the field of education that benefit schools, families, and communities. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Teacher of the Year Award: A Champion for Children
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a teacher who has made outstanding contributions in the field of education that benefits students while engaging families, schools, and communities. This award is open to all classroom teachers, including specialty teachers such as music, art, special needs, PE, etc. who have been teaching four of more years. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Advocacy Unit of the Year Award
The purpose of the award is to recognize and pay tribute to a PTA unit (local unit, council, community PTA, or SEPTA) who has made outstanding efforts in their advocacy programming this year. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality. NCPTA Program Unit of the Year Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a PTA unit (local unit, council, community PTA, or SEPTA) who has hosted an outstanding program that advances the PTA mission to make every child’s potential a reality. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Unit of the Year Award
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a unit (local unit, council, community PTA, or SEPTA) that champions practices and programming that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion that results in positive changes at their school. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA Instructional Assistant of the Year Award-NEW AWARD
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to an instructional assistant who has made outstanding contributions in the field of education that benefits students while engaging families. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA School Support Staff of the Year AwardNEW AWARD
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a school support staff member who has made outstanding contributions in the field of education that benefits students while engaging families. This award is open to school administrative assistants, school secretaries, school treasurers, school bookkeepers, school data managers, and other support staff members. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.

NCPTA School Beginning Teacher of the Year AwardNEW AWARD
The purpose of this award is to recognize and pay tribute to a teacher who has made outstanding contributions in the field of education that benefits students while engaging families. This award is open to all classroom teachers, including specialty teachers such as music, art, special needs, PE, etc. who have been teaching less than four years. Through family-school-community engagement, this nominee has worked to fulfill the PTA Vision to make every child’s potential a reality.
