The North Carolina PTA hosted hundreds of parents, educators and students from across the state in Raleigh at the annual NCPTA Parent Education Conference April 27-28 at the Hilton North Raleigh. Conference presentations and workshops focused on arts in education; the complexity of school funding, healthy school environments, measuring effective teaching, and tools for the new Standard Course of Study.

Celebrate Creativity at the 2012 Parent Education Conference

Join hundreds of parents, educators and students at the NCPTA Parent Education Conference in Raleigh April 27-28. The conference will kick off with an IRS Compliance workshop for PTA members. Saturday morning includes national and local expert perspectives on creativity in the classroom, ideas and resources for healthy school environments, school budget complexities and upcoming changes to the Standard Course of Study.
