NCPTA Gates Team From Report of Results Initiative Virtual Town Hall From the moment the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world, there has been uncertainty around the fate of our students and schools. With no end to the pandemic in sight, we are faced with trying to adapt and make sense of our new normal. The question that many are wondering about is how student and school performance will be measured after the pandemic? The NCPTA Gates Team from Report to Results Initiative, will be hosting a Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, August 13 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. via Zoom and Facebook

NCPTA Gates Mini Grant NCPTA is pleased to announce that we will be distributing mini-grants in the amount of $250 to five local unit PTAs to expand the impact of our Gates Team work in the From Reports to Results Initiative. The grant funding is intended to allow your PTA to use National PTA’s Community Conversation Toolkit to have a discussion with a district leader or your school principal about the effects of COVID-19 on student and school performance. NCPTA is pleased to announce that we will be distributing $2,500 in COVID relief funds to two local units. This emergency grant funding is intended to allow your PTA to help meet the pressing needs of internet access and devices within your school community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The application opens on June 27, 2020.  Grant applications are due July 25, 2020.  Recipients will be announced on July 31, 2020.  Recipients must complete projects by October 2, 2020. In addition, two Google Pixels will be given to two local units to enhance technology within their school communities. NCPTA Live Chats
