NCPTA Gates Team From Report of Results Initiative Virtual Town Hall

From the moment the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world, there has been uncertainty around the fate of our students and schools.

With no end to the pandemic in sight, we are faced with trying to adapt and make sense of our new normal.

The question that many are wondering about is how student and school performance will be measured after the pandemic?

The NCPTA Gates Team from Report to Results Initiative, will be hosting a Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, August 13 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. via Zoom and Facebook Live, that will address the topic of measuring school and student performance post-pandemic.

We will be joined by a panel of esteemed professionals from across the State that includes: Brenda Berg, CEO and President of Best NC, Dr. Ronda Bullock, Co-Founder and Executive Director of We Are, Diane Dulaney, NC SchoolWorks Coordinator at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Letha Muhammad, Director of the Education Justice Alliance, Teicher Patterson, School Principal, Enfield Middle STEAM Academy and a host of other guests that will be announced soon!

Please plan to join us and be a part of the conversation so that we can determine what steps need to be taken to ensure that student and school performance remains a high priority within the State of North Carolina.

Please submit your questions in advance of the event so that we can ensure that they are answered!

We look forward to your participation!

Thank you,

The NCPTA Gates Team
