Reflections Theme Search Competition

National PTA Reflections Theme Search

Once again, National PTA is looking for Reflection Arts Program theme ideas that will spark fun and creativity during the 2025-2026 Reflections Program! Students across North Carolina are invited to enter ideas on what they think a great Reflections theme would be! NCPTA will select 5 winning themes in November to represent North Carolina in the contest for the 2025- 26 Reflections Theme Search! The student who submits the winning entry will receive a $100 prize from National PTA.

Past themes and duplicate submissions are not considered. This means we’re looking for the most original NEW theme ideas.

The theme selected by National PTA for 2023-2024 is “I am Hopeful Because..”, which was submitted by Alice Meko, from Hampton Cove Elementary School in Alabama.

Once again, themes that duplicate previous themes or ideas will not be considered! Please review themes from previous years before submitting a theme for 2025-2026

Considerations:
• Theme is unique, inspiring and unlike past program themes.
• Theme is focused without being too narrow or too broad.
• Theme is clear, concise and appropriate for all grade levels.
• Theme is applicable to all arts categories.
• Theme promotes PTA values.
• Theme is relevant in 2 years.
• Past themes and duplicate entries are not considered.

The application period for this contest will open August 1, 2023 and close on November 1, 2023. Themes can be submitted via the google form below.  All theme submissions must be entered online by November 1st, no paper submissions will be taken at the state office this year.
