Cumberland County PTA Council Awarded SPICE Grant

Cumberland Community Foundation is partnering with the Cumberland County PTA Council on a new grant program. The SPICE (Strengthening Parent Involvement in Children’s Education) Grant program is designed to help families and communities improve education by increasing parental involvement in Cumberland County Schools. Local PTA units in Cumberland County will have the opportunity to apply for grants of up to $1,000 to fund programs that increase parental involvement in their schools. Research shows that children perform better in school if their parents and families are involved.
