NCPTA is excited to share that we have a winner! National PTA awarded over $60,000 in grants to schools and PTAs across the country to help improve the quality of, access to and participation in school meals. Twenty-five local PTAs have been selected to receive grants of $2,000 each to partner with their school leaders, food service team and families to help schools build on the progress they have made in serving students healthier meals. The Nominating Committee will present the Slate to delegates at the NCPTA State Convention at the General Session on Saturday, May 21. Treasurer: Pepper Hines, Durham Pepper Hines has been nominated to serve a second term in the office of Treasurer. She has been an active PTA member for over 20 years serving at the local, council and state levels of PTA.
