The North Carolina PTA applauds students and PTA families across the state for participating in PTA Reflections, a national arts recognition program that encourages students to explore their talents and express themselves. The student who submits the winning entry for 2016-2017 will receive $100, and his or her theme will be presented at the National PTA Convention and Exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina, June 25-28, 2015. PTA Start the Arts Week – September 15-19 The Official Reflections Kick-Off Celebration during National Arts in Education Week will promote whole-school participation in arts programs and activities. The campaign will also raise awareness about the value the arts bring to a high quality, comprehensive education. During the school week, each day will focus on a different arts category. PTAs are encouraged to host daily activities engaging students in each art form―providing opportunities to promote the Reflections program theme and participate in the Reflections awards program.
