Nine NC Students Win National PTA Reflections Awards

Congratulations to National PTA Reflections winners from North Carolina! Three of the NCPTA winners received National Awards of Excellence, and six NCPTA winners received National Awards of Merit. These national award recipients were chosen from hundreds of thousands of submissions. National PTA invites students to enter each year for a Reflections Theme Search. The student who submits the winning entry for 2016-2017 will receive $100, and his or her theme will be presented at the National PTA Convention and Exhibition in Charlotte, North Carolina, June 25-28, 2015. Kick-Off Your Reflections Program During PTA Start the Arts Week

PTA Start the Arts Week – September 15-19 The Official Reflections Kick-Off Celebration during National Arts in Education Week will promote whole-school participation in arts programs and activities. The campaign will also raise awareness about the value the arts bring to a high quality, comprehensive education. During the school week, each day will focus on a different arts category. PTAs are encouraged to host daily activities engaging students in each art form―providing opportunities to promote the Reflections program theme and participate in the Reflections awards program.
