Start sharing outstanding accomplishments. The NCPTA Awards Program provides us with the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the exemplary efforts of PTA/PTSA units, councils and individuals throughout our state. The outstanding work of the award winners will be recognized at the 2015 Parent Education Conference in Raleigh on April 17-18.
There are numerous ways to honor an outstanding teacher, principal, school administrator, volunteer, or your PTA. There are also three Membership Enrollment Recognition Awards available: Gold Acorn, Ruby Acorn, and Silver Acorn. These are awarded for 100% teacher membership as well as total PTA membership equal to or greater than student enrollment.
We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to say “thank you” to deserving people who have contributed greatly to improving the lives of children and youth. Only PTA units in good standing are eligible to apply.
